So I think my mom knew I was hung over this morning because she made me toast and coffee without me asking. Which she never does. What a good mother.

This toad is fat and adorable. I saw him at the state fair. He makes me happy. He would be my best friend and I would name him Frank. Or Bob. I want to squeeze him.
There were also tiny turtles. I wanted to steal them. But I had nowhere to hide a baby turtle on my person without looking like I had a strange, moving, turtle-shaped tumor.

Anyways, first time there. It was pretty fun. Went with a lot of friends and such. Went on a giant slide. You're jealous. Was more than mildly disturbed at the number of deep fried things they offered. Deep fried twinkies? Oreos? Just. No. And chocolate covered bacon?! WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE WORLD?!

There's a reason I ate beforehand.

We saw a hypnotist. She was hilarious. I'd go into detail, but you really had to be there. It's probably a good thing I'm not a hypnotist. I'd make people do hilarious, but terrible things. Hehehe.

We missed the Daschund Derby. This saddens me greatly. Because seriously...HOW CUTE IS THIS PICTURE?!?! AHHH. I want to put my weiner dog in it. So adorable.

The art exhibits were awesome too. This particular one reminded me of the Spider Baby toy from Toy Story. How fucking cool. I wish I could do shit like that. I need to get back on my art.

I'm slacking on taking pictures too. I feel dumb forgetting my camera.

Anyways, to back up a little. I have a place to live next year! It is an adorable green duplex. My house number is 2812 1/2 which I think is very cute. I'm moving in Sunday! Ahh! I'm also proud of myself because I set up the appointments and everything myself. Go me. All responsible and shit. Yeahhhhhhhh.

Oh and this afternoon I went to like, the best Chinese food place ever with Corey. And they give like, massive amounts of food. For cheap. Made my life so happy. Goddammit I love eating. Orange chicken and rice OM NOM NOM NOM.

K, so I kind of forgot about this. My bad. I've been busy. Chilling with snakes around my neck and shit. Cuz I'm a fucking badass. Don't hate.

But seriously. Had a photoshoot with Chloe, been going to a few shows with awesome bands like 9:00 News, Klobo the Angst, Mad Judy, & the Secretions.

Had a fucking sweet 4th of July that involved lots of friends, BBQ, fireworks, a little road trip to Chico and some possibly illegal substance...I mean what?

Trying to find a place to live next year. Kind of panicking about it. Fun stuff.

But the past week has been fabulous. Like really nice. So yeah, idgaf.

I'm obsessed with anything science fiction/post-apocalyptic/dystopian/utopian. Literature, movies, theories, ramblings. I love it all. The what ifs?

What if all technology just failed?
What if we began to evolve?
What if science goes madly wrong?
What if?

I'm just too immersed and restless right now.
I probably don't make any sense.

starting summer [june 10, 2010]

Mmm, it's finally summer and I adore it. So far it's been fabulous. I saw A Chorus Line on Sac Broadway and that was awesome. I bought a fairly nice little handheld digital camera on eBay for $52 to tide me through until I can buy my $349 baby.

On that note, I'm applying for jobs so I can afford it. So far I've applied to Green Beans Coffee and I'm applying to Calvin Klein. Both of which would be interesting to work at. I'm also determined to renew my permit and get my license before the end of June, so I can actually go to a job, to actually make money. See how it all goes together? haha.
